Job Description

Systems Test Engineer will support ZF’s Electric Power Steering division. As part of ZF's Core Mechatronic organization, you will deliver the best-in-class autonomous safety, reliability and performance.

Primary Responsibilities:

System verification for electro-mechanical steering systems (EPS) –system tests, system integration and system integration test

  • Planning, Monitoring and Control of the execution of test cases on HiL systems

  • Reporting on Test Completion towards customer delivery and SOP

  • Support of the Problem Resolution Process

  • Analysis of technical specifications, system requirements and system architectural design

  • Development of test suites and test cases according to input requirements

  • Strong interaction and communication with project team, requirement engineers and software developers

  • Strong interaction with the System and SW Test Team in Europe

Required Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required

Master’s degree or better preferred.

Experience and Skill Requirements

Role Qualifications:

6 years experience within the Automotive Industry

Experience with embedded SW, System development and/or Testing

Basic understanding of electronic circuits, embedded systems and controls engineering

Experience with Matlab, Simulink, Automation Desk, Control Desk, Vector Informatik tools

Experience with DOORS, PTC Integrity and MS Project

Knowledge/experience with programming languages is an advantage such as Python, C and Matlab

Knowledge/experience with methods of agile SW development, e.g. Scrum or Kanban, is an advantage

Experience with ISO 26262 and Automtovie SPICE or CMMI

ISTQB Foundation Level or Advanced Level Test Manager Certification is an advantage

Certified PMP is an advantage
