ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Responsible for supporting and/or drafting governance recommendations to the Director within a Federal Government Agency. Governance Analyst will understand governance and how governance best practices can be applied across large enterprises. He/she will provide support for IT Governance and the roles of the CIO in ensuring governance is adhered to amongst the agency. Develop IT governance charters, project management processes and supporting documentation. He/she will support the customer’s IT initiatives to ensure alignment with IT strategic objectives, business goals, and internal or external compliance needs. Apply technical knowledge and experience to modernize the client’s IT governance practices and principles to increase assurance of continuous compliance integration, faster delivery of changes, and improved linkages between strategy and execution. Serves as a steward fostering change to operational technical governance frameworks. He/she will conduct IT strategy and governance assessments to recommend solutions for improving oversight and decisions–making to drive IT initiatives. Create the following in support of governance activities, including meeting agendas, meeting minutes, email meeting invitations, request for facility reservations, talking points for meetings, and plans of actions and milestones. This position requires an individual who can work well under pressure, multi-task, and participate and communicate well with a team. Attention to detail, strong listening skills, and good verbal and written communications are required. This individual must be able to understand the technical content of all meetings and be able to articulate those to the customer. Provide GT onsite-task lead support Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), SharePoint and desktop publishing software. Ability to work as an integral member of a team and proactively assist others. Possess strong verbal and written skills Demonstrate a high level of customer service Exhibit excellent time management skills and detail-oriented Experience working with Government agencies Meet or exceed targeted billing hours (utilization). Assist with business development activities, such as proposals, capture, account teams, whitepapers, conferences, and/or other thought leadership materials.

5 years of developing governance best practices 5 years of experience with IT PMO 5 years of experience with IT strategy and design disciplines, including enterprise architecture, IT investment management, and/or IT project management Experience with SharePoint Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize multiple tasks Bachelor’s Degree required from an accredited college or university in a related field. Ability to obtain and maintain certain job-related certifications if no job-related advanced degrees. U.S. citizenship may be required. Ability to work in the United States indefinitely required. Travel may be required. Ability to work overtime required on occasion. Ability to sit in an office environment for long periods of time. Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance. Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally. Ability to obtain and maintain firm independence and abide by firm ethics requirements. Meet or exceed continuing professional education (CPE) requirements.
