Citizens Bank Home Equity Quality Assurance Advocate II in Warwick, Rhode Island
The Quality Assurance Advocate will be responsible for performing an in-depth review and analysis of Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA) loan quality with a focus on ensuring all policy, procedures, processes and guidelines are met. Execute and deliver a Quality HMDA Reporting PackagePerform weekly Loan Application MonitoringPerform monthly HMDA file submissionsResponsible for maintaining knowledge of origination, processing, underwriting, and credit risk policies Responsible for maintaining knowledge of regulatory changes as they relate to the HMDA quality assurance review functionValidate controls surrounding origination, underwriting and system defaultsPerform analytics on the HMDA submission file to identify trends Develop process maps, key processing inputs and supporting metrics and deliver recommendations, and implement approved actions and develop control plans for longer term process performance.Proactively establish corrective action and root cause optionsDeliver recommendations, document key decisions and implement approved actions and supporting control plansAdvocate will be resourceful and flexible due to changing priorities and business climate; to meet short-term priorities and needs of the business line, and changing regulatory environment.Complete peer QC reviews in addition to HMDA tasks
3-5 years experience with credit origination, processing, underwriting, quality assurance, credit policy review and/or governance.Must demonstrate strong analytical, organizational and project management skills, coupled with the ability to communicate effectively, both written and oral, with external clients and all levels of the bank management.Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects/tasks and responsibilities.Proficient PC skills including working with Microsoft Office, Excel & AccessSelf-starter, highly motivatedHours and Work ScheduleHours per Week: 40 Work Schedule: Monday-Friday
