The Business Banking Operations Credit Associate II will be responsible for the following: Responsible for clearing closing stipulations for wholesale commercial loan approvals.Works with customer, relationship manager, credit teams and third party vendors to resolve and clear due diligenceitems including environmental reports, appraisals, flood determinations, lien positions and title work therebyensuring that the conditions of the credit approval are met.Effectively manages loan closings for deal structures underwritten under Commercial Credit policies.Provides exceptional customer service while adhering to Bank policies, controls and regulatory requirementsto mitigate operational and reputational risk.
5-7 years of experience with commercial loans, regulatory requirements and credit policy.3-5 years prior related customer service.Some understanding of commercial real estate deals and structure.Highly motivated and is team-oriented.Strong analytical ability to expedite moderately complex problem resolution.Highly-effective written and oral communication skills. Able to provide exceptional customer service and to effectively communicate with customers, colleagues, and with all levels of management.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a time sensitive environment while maintaining service level agreements.Ability to effectively manage a pipeline of credits, independently prioritizing activities.Preferred Skills/Experience:Prior work experience in a business/commercial lending environment is required with knowledge of customary products, practices and policies. Knowledge of real estate secured lending is required.Must be experienced with MS Word, Excel, Outlook. Moody’s Risk Analyst & Access are preferred. Experience with AFS, Relay, Content Manager, Mainframe, Shaw, are all pluses. Equivalent work experience may be considered as an alternative to formal degree program completion.Educational, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials:Bachelor's degree in business or a related technical field preferred.
