Develop, author and validate electrical diagnostic procedures for Body/Chassis electrical systems. + Validate diagnostic procedures on production vehicles. + Comprehend engineering specifications related to algorithms and calibrations. + Participate in technical peer reviews to ensure compliance to standards and technical accuracy. + Support strategies to improve the serviceability of GM Product including ease of vehicle maintenance, diagnosis, repair re-manufacturability, and the avoidance of associated warranty costs. + Represent Service within the VDP or PDP framework, and with Engineering + Provide support to other teams including Product Engineering, CCA Advanced Serviceability, Brand Quality, Technical Assistance, Assembly Plants, Warranty and Field SupportBSEE, BSME or Automotive Technology Degree or equivalent experience + Diagnostic authoring experience + Hands-On vehicle diagnostic/repair experience + ASE/GM ASEP Certification + Knowledge of vehicle systems - working technical knowledge with prior automotive service or Engineering Experience + Strong interpersonal skills involving ability to work effectively cross-functionally + Team Player, with proficient organization and communication skills + Proficient with Microsoft Office systems (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
