Essential Functions

Responsible for all inside sales related and customer service activities for specific assigned accounts.

Provides technical product support and application information, products and provide delivery information to assure customer satisfaction.

Handle customer complaints, returns, credits and adjustments.

Order expediting with production control.

Organize customer visits to Parker Engineered Seals facilities and travels to customers for sales and customer relations.

Coordinate traffic routings with shipping department.

Monitor orders booked on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly basis to react pro-actively should any trends in a positive or negative direction develop. In conjunction with this, participate in development of annual territorial sales forecast.

Coordinate product liability situations to ensure internal and external communication is timely and completion per corporate policies and procedures.

Maintain CMS system for specified accounts, i.e. respond to any ship discrepancies.

Liaison between field and internal company departments.

Prepare and promote personal continuous improvement programs to expand job capabilities and effectiveness.

Relative to specific assigned accounts, it will be required that the assigned ISR (s) manage the customer (s) interactive inventory management system, i.e. DCX “SMART” System and Ford/Visteon “DDL” System.

Serve as a back-up for sales personnel in the event they are out of the facility

Qualifications

College Degree or 1-3 years related experience or the equivalent related education and experience.
