  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred or equivalent experience.

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in material planning/scheduling, purchasing or production control.

  • Must be extremely accurate, able to work independently and show a high level of initiative.

  • Strong proficiency in MS Office products and SAP.

  • Must be able to effectively communicate both written and verbal.

  • Strong organizational, Multi-tasking and problem-solving skills.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Contact vendors daily for on time delivery of scheduled shipments (behind schedule-over shipments).

  • Identify any/all system accuracy issues and communicate concerns to any/all other department/s within the organization.

  • Issue VSR (Vendor schedule releases).

  • Research items for shortages and communicate directly with production floor and dock personnel.

  • Review future production forecast and checks all material is ordered correctly and in a timely manner.

  • Maintain accurate inventory levels of planner deck.

  • Timely disposition of Defective Materials.

Light- Intermittent sitting, standing, and walking, no physical strain

Working Conditions:

This position requires one to work as a team in an inside work area while maintaining a regular work schedule.
