Job Description

We are reinforcing our team in the area Steering at the location Shirley, Solihull

Your tasks as (Senior) Software Engineer (f/m):

  • You will become a major contributor to a highly motivated Software development team developing Software solutions to meet demanding safety and quality standards

  • Analyse the received stakeholder requirements for correctness and testability and develop high quality requirements specifications using a UML approach

  • Support the architectural design of the software including behavior and interface definition and participate in design FMEA activities

  • Develop test cases for components and Embedded C Software to meet all relevant safety standards including ISO26262

  • Validate the Software components against the requirements to ensure full coverage and Quality

Your profile as (Senior) Software Engineer (f/m):

  • Successfully completed Degree in Electronic Engineering/Software Engineering or a related discipline

  • (Initial) proven Software design experience using a UML based approach (ideally using Rational Rhapsody)

  • Experience of unit test tools (such as VectorCAST) and static analysis tools (such as QAC, Polyspace)

  • Familiarity with CAN /Canoe, requirements management tools such as DOORS/PTC Integrity and AUTOSAR

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills including the capability of working within multi-site teams as well as fluent English language skills are mandatory
