Job Description

We are looking for a new colleague in the Sales & Business development department at our location in Shirley

Your tasks as Business Development Manager (m/f):

  • Developing cross-business unit opportunities for the whole Shirley site with different stakeholders in the area of drivetrain, autonomous driving and mechatronic services including cybersecurity, software/motor/ECU, systems and safety as well as test and validation

  • Conducting extensive market research and designing strategies for ZF’s growth

  • Establishing a long-standing relationship with customers, government agencies and universities to promote future business

  • Coordinating all business development activities to deliver the business objectives

  • Improving inter-business unit coordination to share knowledge and to improve engineering efficiency

Your profile as Business Development Manager (m/f):

  • Successfully completed Engineering or commercial degree

  • Several years of experience in sales or business development, ideally within the automotive industry

  • Good understanding of business models, financial regulations as well as the current and emerging technology trends

  • Intercultural competence, leadership skills, excellent communication and coordination skills

  • Fluent English language skills as well as travel readiness
