Stryker Senior Human Resources Specialist in Shanghai, China

Position summary:

Work in partnership with the HR Manager to review and design C&B programs that meet business development needs. Be responsible for payroll, tax and employee benefits program, and supporting the development and implementation of HR best practice

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: (Detailed Description)

  • Process accurate and timely monthly payroll for China offices and be responsible for benefits enrollment and termination as well as vendor selection.

  • Maintain the China local system and ensure accurate and timely entries updating of all system data.

  • Implements the individual income tax related process, including the IIT raising from salary, benefits and stock, etc.

  • Implements and communicates the company's benefits program in regard to plan options, policy features, enrollment and other requirements. Supports on market data survey in order to determine company’s competitive position in employee benefits. Assists in planning, developing, and redesigning company benefits programs and analyzing benefit costs.

  • Makes all cost-related reports and analysis – monthly, quarterly, yearly or adhoc as relevant for management reporting as well as management-decision making purposes.

  • Review existing and proposed statutory requirements governing benefits administration and recommend appropriate course of action.

  • Streamline the internal HR process, focus on continuous improvement and make suggestions to improve processes and policies.

Education & Experience :

  • Bachelor degree or above

  • At last 5 years’ of related HR experience gained in China

  • Multinational company background preferred

  • Ability to influence people at all levels of the organization
