What you will do

As a Staff Engineer, you will work cross-functionally to lead process development activities associated with new product development (NPD) of neurovascular products The goal of the Process Development team is to design and develop capable manufacturing processes from product concept into product commercialization. In this role, you may serve as a PD core team member on NPD projects. Some related activities include: investigation of new process technologies, refinement of existing technologies, acting as a subject matter expert for specific processes/technologies, and managing the executions of deliverables to meet project contract requirements. The Staff Engineer will determine process validation strategies for projects. This role will also support writing of validation protocols and reports applicable to new processes. You will also provide Design for Manufacturability (DFM) input to the team and will assist in defining the site’s strategy relating to key technology investments. You will be contributing ideas to or generating Intellectual Property submissions. This is a strong technically focused role so it requires someone who is strong at assessing process capabilities, prioritizing process improvement opportunities, and innovates and implements process improvements on platform or derivative projects.

Minimum Qualifications

What you need

•BS in Mechanical Engineering or Biomedical Engineering (other applicable fields considered)

•3+ years experience in the Medical Device industry

•Strong technical capabilities with a desire to continue on a technical path
