We are currently seeking aTechnical Specialistin our Paint and Sealer Segment at our world class North American Headquarters in Rochester Hills, Michigan. Primary responsibilities include:
Will work with a variety of internal groups and customers to assist with demonstrations and provide technical support of proposals and sales engineers
Forecast for Controllers and Robots to FANUC
Forecast for Paint Robots and Rails to Operations
Review with salesforce Master Sales Forecast
Creation of Engineering Group Forecast grid
Attend Quote Review and supply clarifications to customer specifications.
Project Management / Project Entry into ERP from creation of project to completion
Attend all Quote Review and Production meetings
Provide software, electrical and mechanical support to Engineering group to enter configurations in ERP system
Review all Special Pricing Requests
Creation of “How To Video” for Paint maintenance
Controller/Robot Inventory Tracking
Create and maintain all robot and controller BOMs ordered
Place orders to FANUC for Paint controller, motors, and Dispense robots
Paint Division Inventory Analysis and Cost reduction
All Paint and Dispense Engineering Change Notification Review prior to release
Attend Field Failure Review meetings to help resolve any issues
Support sales by conducting manufacturing tours when required
Creation and Maintaining configuration sheets per robot model and customer, running costs and quarterly updates for SubsidiariesIdeal candidate will have the following experience and education:
Associate Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Bachelor degree preferred, or equivalent relevant experience
Proven experience within an automation company.
Minimum two years ERP experience
AutoCAD & Bentley experience preferred
Knowledge of Paint Robots and Paint Process Equipment
Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings.
