Citizens Bank Business Support Manager II in Riverside, Rhode Island
The Business Support Manager II is accountable for ensuring Commercial Operations has sound and robust business and technical recovery strategies, plans and programs in place to minimize impact to our customers and employees during disruptive events. In an actual disaster, our goal is to enhance employee responsiveness, alleviate confusion, ensure logical decision making and reduce the impact to the business.
Primary responsibilities include:
Perform impact analysis of a business process or department (as assigned) within Commercial Operations
Develop a sound and robust Business Continuity Plan (Plan) for each business process or department (as assigned) in partnership with process stakeholders
Partner with central Business Resilience team to identify alternate space locations for each department (as determined necessary by Plan needs)
Build and maintain strong partnerships with all stakeholders
Lead Plan walkthroughs and call tree exercises with departments in Commercial Operations to ensure adequacy and effectiveness
Test each Plan for adequacy and effectiveness as required by Corporate and Department requirements
Modify Plan(s) for department, technology and applications changes, as necessary
Build an internal document for each business process outlining key processes and high level procedures for all colleagues to utilize in the even of an incident
Seek to continuously identify gaps in processes and areas for improvement/efficiency Report the business continuity status of business units to senior management
Provide expertise and support to management and business functional areas, as needed, when a business disruption occurs
5+ years relevant business experience in Business Continuity Planning and/or Disaster Recovery
Strong attention to detail
Superior written and verbal communication skills
Strong ability to interface and coordinate work efficiently and effectively with business partners in various locations
Advanced Microsoft Office skills, primarily MS Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to work with limited supervision
Strong administrative skills, with effectiveness in developing tasks and managing resources to achieve target dates
Strong analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills
- Knowledge of Commercial Operations business
- Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required
Hours & Work Schedule
Hours per Week: 40
Work Schedule: 8:30AM - 5:00PM, Monday - Friday
