Penske Sr. Pricing Analyst in Reading, Pennsylvania
A Penske Senior Pricing Analyst provides analytical support and assistance in the development of pricing for Logistics Services across all product lines while working with customer templates. Performs pricing analysis that determines cost requirements and overhead associated with providing Logistics services. This role will develop and research costing for products/services and maintain adherence to standard pricing guidelines. Identifies opportunities to improve pricing performance. Implements actionable pricing plans to achieve
strategic objectives. Considers key issues such as competition, price sensitivity, cost economics, and pricing performance.
- Pricing lead on Solution/Product team projects that support new Enterprise level business opportunities. Contracting profitable business based on product solution and pricing
Lead post analysis of operating performance with Directors of Finance on contracted new deals.
Identifies rate variances, assumptions corrections, standard rate differences, and make adjustments to pricing tools.
Active participation with Solution/Product Line leadership on special projects and other assignments as needed.
-At least 5 years of Supply Chain, Logistics, Warehouse experience required
-At least 5 years of Financial Analysis and/or Cost Accounting experience preferred
-Bachelor Degree in Finance, Economics/Accounting, or Supply Chain/Information Systems required
-MBA, CPA or CMA preferred
-Strong analytical skills required
-Independent problem solving skills required
-Strong oral and written communication skills required
-Advanced use of Microsoft Excel required
-Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Outlook, OneNote, Word, and Powerpoint required
-Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
