Position Summary:

A Senior Mobile iOS Developer develops and maintains mobile applications for external and internal customers. Analyze performance of applications and troubleshoot problems. Work with more junior developers/vendors and lead/mentor them. Involved in the full systems development lifecycle of the proposed solution.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Participate in all aspects of the Penske defined Software Development lifecycle. Develop new applications/modules while support existing software development efforts and systems. Work independently with a team and self-manage work while participating in all aspects of the Penske defined Software Development lifecycle.

  • Review code from junior and offshore programmers or external vendors. Provide them support and mentoring.

  • Analyzing system/software performance.

  • Ongoing systems monitoring and general support/maintenance of assigned applications.

  • Learn and apply new technologies. Analyze software solutions based on customer requirements and suggest the best solution.

  • Other projects as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in iOS native mobile development

  • 5 years of experience developing native mobile applications for Apple iOS with Xcode.

  • Good project management and communications skills with the ability to work on multiple simultaneous projects of lead small project teams.

  • Work as a mobile development Lead with full System Development Lifecycle experience.

  • Strong background in Objective C and Swift

  • Demonstrated knowledge of major frameworks (Cocoa Touch, Core Services, and Core OS)

  • Experience with NSXMLParser, NSJSON Serialization , CAPSPageMenu, AFNetworking, JSONModel , SVProgressHUD, ObjcAssociatedObjectHelpers,XMLDictionary, Fabric.io

  • REST API Development

  • Ability to work independently with a team and self-manage work

  • Ability to quickly and thoroughly learn and apply new technologies

  • Project Lead experience and Project Management

It would be a plus if you have had experience with:

  • Responsive design and adaptive development

  • Nodejs, Gulp, Maven, GIT, BitBucket/STASH, JIRA, Confluence, Bamboo, ANT

  • JAVA/J2EE preferably using a web application server like Websphere or JBoss

  • Spring Framework and design Patters, iBatis

  • SQL – Experience in writing optimized complex SQL statements

  • Oracle, iSeries DB2 and MS SQL Server database experience

  • Web Services/SOA

  • Google Analytics, Telium

  • Agile/Kanban, Experience working on a team in an Agile environment

  • Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
