Penske Insurance Analyst in Reading, Pennsylvania
This position plays an integral role in gathering and providing financial detail to senior management to plan for adequacies of exposure and allocating for future financial needs. This position also supports the department in providing reports to various units as well as supplying information to insurance broker and underwriters. Completes and reports data to governmental entities to ensure compliance with workers’ compensation and other insurance regulations.
Identify and evaluate exposures to loss. Gather underwriting information and prepare submission for insurance policy renewal process.
Allocate insurance premiums based on underwriting exposures. Handle monthly wire transfers, claim payments, WC payroll reports/payments
Issue various insurance forms to meet regulatory requirement and comply with contract obligations.
Provide support and assistance on special projects.
Identify, analyze and report claim trends
Review Real Estate Contracts for new property lease opportunities. Maintain comprehensive list of all owned and leased properties for reporting to Property Insurance Carrier.
Create formulas and develop allocation processes for workers compensation costs to districts and filings for yearly business plans
Other projects as assigned by the supervisor
Bachelor degree in Accounting/Finance/Insurance, Business or other related discipline required
3-6 years of related experience in Property Casualty Insurance and/or Risk Management required
ARM, CPCU, AIC certifications preferred
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills required
Strong focus on customer service required
Must be able to organize, prioritize and execute on multiple task in a fast paced environment
Must have strong MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) and query (Brio and/or AS 400) skills
Should be a self-starter, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
Green Belt certification a plus
Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
