Job Description / Information

The Marketing Associate will be responsible for supporting the sales and marketing teams to implement the marketing strategy for the Surgical product portfolio in order to optimize customer satisfaction and drive market share.

You will become a market subject matter expert for the Surgical product portfolio, understanding market trends, competitive intelligence, product performance and evidence requirements.

The role is demanding and you will operate in a fast past environment to meet the needs of our customers. As such hours will be varied and flexible according to demands and you will spend 30-60% travelling to marketing events and to our customers to help us meet our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

•Assist with executing local sales and marketing strategies.

•Sales enablement: product technical or competitive questions.

•Medical education and other customer engagement event support and execution.

Key Activities & Accountabilities

•Provides rapid sales support by answering and/or resolving customer questions and/or problems

•Supports key product evaluations, presentations or installations as directed by local manager

•Localizes marketing support material or creates market-specific assets

•Supports in-person customer experience of our products through coverage of exhibits, trade shows and educational labs

•May provide input in the new product development process and collect Voice of the Customer (VOC) feedback on new product concepts

•Facilitates marketing or sales training

•Works with sales representatives and marketing teams to identify improvements to existing products

•Develops and executes strategies for communicating product-related updates to sales representatives

•Maintains and expands the Vault knowledge management system through periodic updates, best practice sharing, and uploading of relevant content

•Works closely with customer service and distribution teams to understand production capacity, build schedules, and stocking schedules for assigned products

•Coordinates with distribution team and sales representatives to effectively allocate products to customers in times of short supply.

•Works with customer care team to understand complaint handling, quality, and service processes, and will communicate these processes to sales representatives as needed

•Submits periodic or monthly reports on assigned topics

Minimum Qualifications

Education and Experience

University degree (any) – Marketing, Life sciences, Pharmaceutical, Business or Engineering degree desirable.

•Previous sales or marketing experience highly desirable
