Citizens Bank Deposit Operations Senior Specialist in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania


The Deposit Operations Senior Specialist will support the Fulfillment Department in a variety of activities including clerical work, teller processing, data entry, new account opening, funding of accounts, mailing of letter correspondences, answering incoming customer calls and miscellaneous project support including updating and creating spreadsheets.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Using and updating department generated Excel spreadsheets

  • Answering inbound phone calls from branches and customers

  • Opening accounts for the Contact Center and Web Applicants

  • Review identification and supporting documents for account opening

  • Quality Control of requests sent to customers

  • Other duties may include Safe Box maintenance support

  • Fulfillment customers' requests generated through the Contact Center, including matching collateral with various outbound letters


Required Skills/Experience:

  • Ability to develop & sustain strong, positive working relationships with internal and external colleagues and business partners

  • Prior administrative or operations experience

  • Strong written and verbal communications skills

  • Ability to work under pressure with efficiency and accuracy

  • Ability to plan and prioritize workload

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Ability to manage several computer based applications

  • Excel: ability to create and update spreadsheets

  • 5+ years of banking operations experience

Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials:

  • High school or above

Hours & Work Schedule

Hours per Week: 40

Work Schedule: 8:30am - 5:00pm, Monday - Friday. Flexibility required if schedule changes due to business need.
