Two (2) positions available:
Night Shift, 6:00 P.M. - 6:00 A.M., 4 nights on/4 off
Day Shift, 6:00 A.M. - 6:00 P.M., 4 days on/4 off

Install, troubleshoot, repair, maintain electrical equipment and instrumentation
Perform technical and electrical repairs as required in connection with the servicing of electrical equipment such as AC and DC motors, relay and control equipment, switches, circuit breakers, transformers, panel boards, and motor control centers (MCC’s)
Perform preventive maintenance, routine checks, and instrument calibration on plant equipment
Use test equipment such as volt ohm meters, amp meters, HART communicators, source meters, and other test equipment
Provide technical guidance, training, and assistance to new employees
Use plant computer systems to monitor work backlog and input work order data
Maintain effective working relationships with co-workers through proper communication
Comply with Dart Container’s policies and procedures
Core Skills and Qualifications:
Two (2) years experience in maintaining, troubleshooting, calibrating, and repairing electrical equipment in an industrial environment
One (1) year experience interpreting and applying instructions to specifications, blueprints, and procedures
One (1) year experience with computers
One (1) year experience with multi-meters and amp meters for troubleshooting electrical problems
Ability to work rotating 12 hour shifts, 4 on/4 off, including weekends, holidays, and overtime
Ability to work on-call or call-in schedule if needed
Demonstration of minimum proficiency with the English language in order to ensure effective new hire training and on-going communications about safety and quality issues
Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed
Maintain excellent communication with employees, management, vendors, and customers in both written and oral form
Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work effectively in a plant environment
Ability to work well individually and as a team member
Demonstrate strong time management skills along with establishing organizational processes
Perform duties in accordance with established safety procedures
Preferred skills and qualifications:
Three (3) years experience in maintaining, troubleshooting, calibrating, and repairing electrical equipment in an industrial environment
Two (2) years experience interpreting and applying instructions to specifications, blueprints, and procedures
Two (2) years experience with PC and operating systems
Two (2) years experience with multi-meters and amp meters for troubleshooting electrical problems
One (1) year experience in instrumentation and sensor calibration
Associate’s Degree in Electrical field
