Experienced at leading a High Performing Team within the Medical Devices arena? Highly driven with proven success? Stryker Medical UK & Ireland have a unique opportunity for a highly driven and experienced individual to lead their Pre-Hospital business within the Medical Franchise.

The Pre-Hospital business comprises of both the Stryker EMS portfolio alongside the Physio-Control LIEPAK® Defibrillator, Mechanical Chest Compression and Data Solutions Portfolio. Stryker EMS develops best-in-class solutions that address critical issues affecting caregivers and patients. An industry leader in ambulance cots, fasteners, stair chairs and evacuation chairs. Physio-Control, now part of Stryker, is the world leader in the development, manufacturing, sale and service of external defibrillator/monitors and emergency medical response products and services; built for Emergency Care Professionals and designed to Save Lives.

A dynamic marketplace driven by a combination of Science and Technology, Stryker lead the way with their No 1 EMS Signature Brands, improving Systems of Care for Pre-Hospital, Emergency Care Providers and continue to make healthcare better for our Patients.

Responsible for a high value, National business segment and highly driven team the successful applicant will report directly to the Business Unit Director and be responsible to lead the continued Sales and Growth success of the Pre-Hospital business within the UK & Ireland.

Responsibilities:

  • Exceed & deliver Quarterly, Yearly UK & Ireland Pre-Hospital business Budget; managing Capital and Recurring Revenue Pipeline Development alongside accurate Forecasting vs. Budget reporting directly into the Business Unit Director.

  • Manage, lead, and motivate a High Performing Sales Team and support & drive both local & Regional Head Quarter Marketing & Technical Service Teams with both Strategical and Tactical approaches to business acceleration within the segment.

  • Support and collaborate with Enabling Functional Teams such as Contracts & Pricing, Compliance, Customer Service Teams, Accounting Teams to ensure smooth Order to Cash process is maintained and our Customers receive the highest levels of Service.

  • Build strong Relationships with a diverse group of Stakeholders within the Pre-Hospital Government and Private Medical sectors; including; Clinical Directors within our UK Ambulance Services, Advanced Paramedics and Practitioners, Fleet and Operation Managers, Procurement and Finance Leaders.

  • Build Clinical Champions to support driving forward both current and future technology platforms across the entire portfolio.

  • Ensure solid relationships are maintained with our National Framework Partners including East of England Framework, NHS Supply Chain and Regional Procurement Hubs.

  • Understand / Utilize Market Dynamics to support Business Acceleration.

  • Take a creative approach to New Business Development for both current and future technologies and platforms.

  • Maintain Stryker’s No 1 Positon in the UK & Ireland Pre-Hospital Marketplace.

Experience (Desirable)

  • Strong commercial acumen

  • 5 Years, proven Medical Sales success within the Medical Device Arena

  • Regional Sales Management and or / Product / Marketing Experience (desirable)

  • Degree in Business, Life-science, Marketing, Business Administration, Engineering or another relevant, advanced degree

  • Competent in Microsoft Office and preferable knowledge of CRM System

  • Presentation skills with modern presentation media
