Stryker Craniomaxillofacial Associate Sales Representative -Central LA in Los Angeles, California
*Covering West Los Angelas area (Pasadena, Glendale, Burbank, Sherman Oaks, Studio City, Downtown LA, Hollywood, etc.)
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Sales Associate will be primarily responsible for representing Stryker as a leader in our industry and the marketplace by promoting our products to a sophisticated audience comprised of surgeons and healthcare professionals.
This will be achieved by increasing sales through assisting the sales teams and building own accounts by means of working with existing customers as well as identify new customers in order to grow their territory. The candidate will be responsible for communicating with current and new customer accounts regarding a variety of topics including product updates, changes to product portfolio and educational programs.
Promotes and sells a portfolio of technical and/or nontechnical products and/or services and solutions directly to current and new end customers.
Informs customers of new product/service introductions and prices.
Works with a sales rep to ensure customer service standards are high and continually improving.
Assists the sales rep in determining the necessary resources needed for our customers to achieve sales objectives.
Fosters a culture and environment that makes their region a destination for top performers.
Accurately forecasts sales trends and commitments.
Gain knowledge of the sales business, and territory through on the job training, product and anatomy manuals, and phases of training
Manages a profitable, cost-conscious business, including DII, inventory, DSO, T&E, pricing, and contracts.
Executes territory allocation, develops market-based quotas, participates in the design of motivating compensation plans and manages to them.
Conducts win/loss analyses to understand key drivers and communicates these concisely and regularly to product, marketing and executive management.

2-5 years in an outside sales position
Interest in being in the operating room
Capacity to deal with competing priorities and potential to be adaptable as days change quickly.
Demonstrated ability in building and maintaining relationships in the sales capacity.
Must be comfortable in emergency and operating room environments.
Prepared to spend up to 90% of time in the field with customers and sales professionals (including some weekends, and some overnight travel).
Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services
Comfortability with adapting to new technology and business advancements.
Bachelor’s degree required
Would need personal car to transport product inventory and travel to support customers.
Learns from set-backs and develops tactics and strategies to minimize recurrence.
