Position Overview:

This position is located at ZF Automotive’s North American Headquarters in Livonia, MI. The administrative assistant is responsible for administrative support to multiple executives and their staff which requires the ability to coordinate activities and flow of information, with discretion and good judgment. The selected candidate must be able to work within a fast-paced and demanding professional environment, with ability to manage and prioritize multiple critical projects.


  • Manage multiple calendars to ensure appropriate use of time, ability to meet deadlines; coordinate meeting schedules across different departments and time zones

  • Bring together appropriate people and resources to address issues, whether in meetings or remotely

  • Organize group/department meetings and events

  • Process the invoices received in the department

  • Arrange travel, domestic and international; handle expense reporting

  • Coordinate communication with different departments requesting information, following up in action items on behalf of the Department, and ensure requests are fulfilled

  • Using appropriate electronic support tools, handle administrative tasks such as maintain files, draft and screen communications, prepare and consolidate team presentations and create reports as necessary

  • Ensure confidentiality of critical and/or privileged information

Required Skills:

  • Candidate must have knowledge/experience coordinating activities and supporting large departments in a corporate environment.

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications – specifically PowerPoint and Excel.

  • Must have excellent communication skills, oral and written.

  • Must have excellent organizational and project management abilities.

  • Needs to work with minimal supervision, ensuring results with attention to detail.

  • Candidate must be self-initiated / proactive and be comfortable working in a fast paced and changing environment.


High School diploma required; actively pursuing or completed Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
