Citizens Bank Occupancy Planner in Johnston, Rhode Island

The role of Occupancy planner is too provide tactical space and occupancy data management, and will create transparency and accuracy to the supply, capacity and demand of office space within an office real estate portfolio. In this role, you will be the single point of contact for all space inquiries in assigned buildings.

Primary responsibilities will include:

  • Managing space supply, capacity and providing solutions in response to internal space demand

  • Managing IMAC request queue for space requests

  • Providing occupancy and space planning proposals that enhance space utilization efficiency in existing facilities

  • Conducting virtual and onsite space and occupancy audits as needed to maintain accurate reporting information of seating assignments

  • Maintaining IWMS system data integrity by performing regular building audits and collecting occupancy data within assigned region

  • Maintaining relationships with various internal lines of business to understand their requirements and the impacts to the portfolio

  • Serving as primary client contact for relocation requests, developing space solutions and collaborating with IMAC / Project team responsible for implementing solutions

This role will require frequent local day travel roughly 2 – 3 days per week as required, along with the requirement to travel for a week or more per quarter out of state within our footprint.

Qualifications

Experience and Skills:

  • 2 or more years of occupancy planning experience in a large, matrix driven organization

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Demonstrated knowledge and ability to use analytical and problem-solving techniques

  • Ability to refine complex information down to the essential for client decision making

  • Ability to balance working independently and very collaboratively as part of a multi-functional team

  • Proven experiencebuilding strong relationships with internal and external partners

  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook with strong analysis and spreadsheet capabilities

  • Basic AutoCAD skills

  • Operating IWMS application experience at an intermediate level (preferred)

  • Ability to travel as required – 25% - primarily local travel within MA, RI and CT

Education:

  • Associates degree required, Bachelor’s degree preferred in related field

Hours per Week: 40

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:30AM – 5:00PM
