JOB DESCRIPTION:The Blue Prism Application Developer is responsible for the definition, design, development, implementation and support of automations. This involves planning, analysis, detailed design, developing/coding, testing and implementation of all related components.Primary responsibilities include:- Determines hardware/software systems requirements and hardware/software design. Analyzes, designs, programs, debugs, supports, and modifies software enhancements and/or new products used in Blue Prism -related components.- Partners with the IT Architect during the initial stages of the project/solution to ensure the accuracy of business cases and that the solution will meet the business need.- Adheres to the established lifecycle methodology and practices in accordance to project plans while carrying outtheir responsibilities. This may include maintaining program libraries and technical documentation of the individualapplications.- Works with a team to review the quality of design and configuration, and applies judgment to plan and execute tasks.- Responds to technical queries on and around Blue Prism.- Completes documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance. May interact with users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications.- At Least 2 Years of solid hands-on experience and knowledge of: - Blue Prism - .NET - Java - VB – SQL – C#- Identifies opportunities for improvement in existing processes – Blue Prism. Fine tune performance issues that arise with Blue Prism Bots.- Functions as a collaborator with good soft-skills to meet business needs with technology solutions.- Create detailed test plans for the testing phases of the project.
QUALIFICATIONS:Required Skills/Experience:- Experience coding with Robotics Process Automation technologies- Experience developing and/or supporting applications with at least one of the following: SQL, C#, Websphere, Java,PERL, .NET, HTML, VB, IIS, Cron, JCL, ETL. Experience working on one of the following platforms: Windows, UNIX,Mainframe- Maintains deep understanding of application: Review and validates new application solutions; Align applicationfunctionality with business requirements and strategy; Anticipates issues and challenges affecting application functionality;- Ability to develop functional, technical and user interface designs for an application that meets the defined requirements (business, system performance and standards)- Demonstrates expertise in specific coding concepts and/or languages - Evaluates program modules forperformance scalability and openness of design - Experience in a Financial Services IT settingPreferred Skills/Experience:- Typically requires a minimum of 2-3 years of related experience- Experience with Blue Prism is strongly preferred- Experience with Bizagi is preferredEducational, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials:- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field- Formal certification in Robotics Process Automation domain is preferred
