Analysis and Reporting Senior AnalystThe Consumer Accounting department focuses on the management of accounting-related information, while closely adhering to operational risk guidelines as well as the collection/reconciliation of this information for financial reporting. You will play a key role in supporting these functions through the delivery of high quality data management and take responsibility for the production of a wide variety of data structures, reporting and automation.Primary responsibilities include:Working closely with Business Systems Analysts and the Data & Reporting Manager to develop conversion and system implementation plansTranslating Business requirements into their Technical counterparts to ensure that proper programming documentation is maintainedDesigning, developing, modifying, supporting, debugging and evaluating SAS programs of a data integrity schema for non-standard accounting data and the oversight of adherence to this schemaAnalyzing existing programs and formulating logic for new systems, devising logic procedures, preparing flowcharting, performing coding and test or debugs programsUsing SAS as the tool for data extraction, manipulation and storageRecommending changes in development, maintenance and system standardsEvaluating and reviewing code to identify opportunities for consolidation or improvementProviding automation solutions using SAS programming codeTraining and mentoring junior programmers

Qualifications

The design and development of infrastructure associated to SAS ETL, implementation, and maintenanceRelative to database principles and concepts, specific MS Access & Excel experience preferred Accounting experience is preferred, but not essential.At least 7 years experience of SAS9.x in a development capacityAt least 3 years experience using PC SAS in a development capacityStrong problem-solving and time-management skills, a superior customer service orientation and advanced analytical capabilityThe ability to multi-task and function efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment Solid working knowledge of database principles and conceptsSolid written, verbal and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to support others through training and coachingEducation:A Bachelor Degree in a related discipline or demonstrated equivalent experience required. Master's Degree preferred.Desired Certifications: SAS Certified Advanced Programmer for SAS 9.x.Hours and Schedule:Hours: 40Schedule: Monday-Friday 8-5
