Job Description / Information
Technical Coordinator is the entry-level position within our Technical Services Career Path. You are in the beginning stages of your technical career and are supporting the team through the use of appropriate and effective administrative and service behaviors and fundamentally upholding technical standards.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Perform administrative duties within the Technical Service Department.
Uphold technical standards and communicate proactively with customers. Assist with service delivery.
Quote, ordering of spares, and invoicing for repairs: Compile quotes, spares orders, and invoices based on the information indicated on the job cards or email requests from Technicians. Correct filing of all related Technical Service Department documentation (quotes, SA’s, invoices, POD’s). Receiving of incoming repairs and opening of subsequent Job Card and other related documents.
Attend to customer callouts (Medical) and arrange backup equipment: Liaise with internal and external customers, supply backup equipment and work according to deadlines. Ensure effective job card system and give feedback to customers when required.
Quote, repair and report on Medical repairs: Investigate and evaluate faulty items and quote on the repairs accordingly. Ensure that repairs comply with quality standards of IEC and compile technical reports.
QC of new Medsurg Stock: Perform QC’s on new Medsurg products as and when required as per the QC document.
Collections and Shipping: Assist with the collection of goods from Warehouse for TSD. Assist with shipping of Loan Units and completed repairs to customers.
Matric required, N3 – N6 in office administration preferred
Up to 2 Years’ experience in a technically administrative role
Fluency in English, spoken & written
Good IT knowledge (Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes, MFG/Pro, Outlook)
Valid driving licence preferred
