Independently set-up and operate pleaters, welders, laser drilling machine, test equipment and other miscellaneous equipment in the Metamora Aerospace work cell. Read and interpret blueprint and specifications including following routing instructions. Assemble components using concise dexterity movements to manipulate/assemble small/fine parts. Set-up and operate test machines and a variety of test related gauges and sensors to accurately to accurately and constantly test filter assembly quality and functionality. Use a variety of power and hand tools to in the assembly and testing process. Use multiple measuring devises such a calipers, micrometers, height gauges and gauge blocks to ensure product quality and consistency and have the ability to visually. Will perform work around and may come into contact with industrial and aerospace hydraulic oils/fluids, coolants, fuels, isopropyl alcohol or other liquids. Prepare and maintain all quality documentation including initial, in-process & final inspection within 3 months of employment. Maintain equipment by performing minor maintenance & cleaning & troubleshoot problems as they arise. Other assignments as assigned by the Supervisor. Must be able to read, write & understand English. Must be able to work overtime when required including weekends.
High School diploma or equivalent. Good math skills are an absolute must. Must be detail oriented.
