What you will do

The Associate Global Supply Chain Project Manager supports the Integrated Business Planning process via business process improvement projects such as but not limited to inter-distribution & Value Added Service cycle time reduction, consignment & regional distribution center inventory management initiatives and managing the new product introduction checklist as it relates to supply chain tasks. The projects would be small to medium in scale and the person would help lead the project end-to-end and include other supply chain team members as required.

  • Assist in identifying and driving projects to improve supply chain operational efficiency.

  • Process mapping to streamline product flow.

  • Develop business case when required for project initiation.

  • Drive cross-functional project meetings to ensure alignment and track project plan.

  • Manage and maintain project plans.

  • Gather information from different systems to help with decision making.

  • Manage project risks and issues logs.

  • Project status reporting to stakeholders.

  • Improve upon established business processes and tools.

  • Identify improvements that benefit immediate supply chain partners (Manufacturing, Global Sales/Marketing, Product Development).

  • Support strategic growth decisions and initiatives.

  • Project documentation: Requirements, solution, training, etc.

What you need

  • Bachelors in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration or Information Systems. Masters preferred.

  • 2+ years work experience in a Supply Chain or Operations Project Manager / Analyst role.

  • Strong experience with Microsoft Office (Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio) required.

  • Experience with Oracle / SAP ERP systems.

  • APICS CSCP or CPIM certification desired.

  • Lean Six Sigma certification desired.

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification desired.

  • 2+ year experience in a Supply Chain or Operations Project Manager / Analyst role supporting business process development, supply chain planning and distribution improvement projects.

  • Experience with Oracle/SAP ERP systems to navigate and export information as required.

  • Experience with Project Management tools such as Microsoft Project desired.

  • Project Management skills: project schedule development, adherence, functional resource alignment, and resource budget management.

  • Ability to collect, interpret, and/or analyze complex data and information to help with driving actions and decision making.

  • Experience with change management.

  • Strong communication skills with stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated collaboration, negotiation & conflict resolution skills (relationship management).

  • Strong problem-solving, analytical and organizational skills.

  • Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.
