Job Description

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Systems Engineer to provide key support in the capture, development and management of system-level Driver Assist Systems (DAS) camera product line requirements and architecture. This position will require a candidate who is comfortable being the “hub of the wheel,” interacting with Hardware, Software, Optics, Mechanical, Quality, Functional Safety, Testing, Manufacturing, and other teams to ensure a successful and timely product launch, and to find and address design issues or test findings as early as possible. The ideal candidate will be happy liaising with internal and external customers, and influencing engineers from many disciplines across multiple sites.


· Work closely with engineers, sales, and customers to capture and clarify product goals and capabilities

· Manage product requirements consistently across projects, in compliance with approved processes

· Create and maintain multiple views of a system architecture model

· Maintain traceability between customer requirements, core requirements, application requirements, and system architecture

· Create requirements to fill any gaps between Core (R&D) and customer requirements

· Support the team by developing and demonstrating correct processes for tools such as DOORS or Rhapsody

· Support the team in problem resolution and change management activities

· Recommend and create reports & metrics as needed to support quality and management objectives


· Degree in Electrical, Software, and/or Systems Engineering

· Previous, related experience in an engineering organization

· Experience writing formal product requirements and/or architectural work products

· Highly organized with excellent attention to detail

· Good understanding of the ‘V’ cycle and traceability

· Good understanding of change management, configuration management, and problem resolution methodologies

· Excellent English speaking, reading and writing skills


· Experience of working with camera systems or computer vision systems, especially in an object identification environment

· Experience with Rational DOORS and/or Rhapsody

· Experience coordinating work from multiple disciplines

· Willingness to working in an international environment

· Knowledge of ISO26262, Automotive SPICE, and/or CMMI

· Interest in occasional international travel (<5%)
