Job Description:

Within the Global Electronics Business Unit, a student will be an integral part of a skilled engineering team working directly on various assignments that are both technically challenging and educationally stimulating. Job assignments will be placed in the following area:

  • Advance Driver Assist Systems (ADAS)

  • Integrated Electronics

  • Sensor Technologies

  • Passive Safety

Core Duties (may include not limited to)

  • Work in a team environment, often with cross-functional team members from CAD, purchasing, manufacturing, and other groups, to apply engineering principles to create effective designs

  • Utilize CAD, DFMEA, DFM/DFA and CAE engineering tools such as Catia, NX, DOORS, Integrity, Excel, and others, to ensure accurate and robust designs

  • Perform and coordinate laboratory testing of prototype components and systems and analyze results

  • Troubleshoot camera level assembly and create root cause analysis for issue

  • Prepare and support prototype deliveries

Required Education and Experience

Must be pursuing a 4 year degree in mechanical engineering.

Experience and Skill Requirements

Desired Qualifications:

•Pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering

•Previous experience in Automotive, Mechanical, Robotics, SAE, activities is a plus

•Strong Microsoft suite skills including PowerPoint, Excel and Word

•Strong sense of urgency and personal commitment
