This position is responsible for all aspects of application development, execution and compliance for the GM S-CAM4.8 Global B application program developments globally (including people, process and line management). This position will have 1-2 direct reports. Additionally, this position interfaces and provides support to another 6-10 cross-functional team members (Tech Specialists, Technicians, Mechanical, Software, Test/Validation, Quality, EQA, Purchasing, and Sales) as well as the customer. Other primary responsibilities include developing and managing the project budgets, and providing engineering design assumptions and ER&D estimates to support the business case quotation process.
System validation test plan development, hardware/software/mechanical design deliverables
Performance software deliverables (including interface to partner company).
Position will work with cross-functional team to ensure core design meets all application program team requirements/expectations from a design re-use perspective, dual-sourcing validation plan, gap analysis of customer requirements, support business development with consistent/standard CQA template(s).
Successful platform development is key to meeting portfolio cost and growth needs and required to increase our global DAS electronics market share.
Essential Skills and Experience:
Management and responsibility for global team members.
Present/influence ZF technology strategies and customer product development roadmaps.
Provide overall direction and enforcement of ZF GDPIM application process.
Interface with global/regional sales leads to facilitate business development.
Interface/support global/regional quality leads and TRW manufacturing plant quality personnel to support AME development of new technologies.
Provide management support and escalation path for critical issues identified with core program developments

Bachelors Degree in Engineering required
