The Test and Validation Team has diverse needs. We are always building new equipment. However, we also maintain a large fleet of test systems. Whether your main strength lies in creating, maintaining, and troubleshooting electronics, or in creating, debugging, and maintaining software, we have a place for you in our team. Most of our work is carried out in small groups, where an individual’s strengths are reinforced by the strengths of their coworkers.
Test Equipment Engineer responsible for designing, programming, integrating, and maintaining various electronic and electro-mechanical test systems.
These systems are used certify the quality of a variety of automotive electronics, including, cameras, braking controllers, airbag controllers, a variety of sensors, sensors, switches, and more!
Essential Skills and Experience:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
3 years of experience.
Good critical thinking skills.
The ability to work within a team environment.
Solid knowledge of electrical components and circuitry.
Software development skills.
For instance, VB.net, C#, C++, Python, LabVIEW, etc.
Strong communications skills.
Must be a team oriented individual.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Working knowledge of testing concepts, including data acquisition, and control applications.
Working knowledge of automotive communication bus protocols (CAN, LIN, Flexray, et al.).cb
