Penske Supervisor - Coded Parts Room in Easton, Pennsylvania

Position Summary:

Supervises a small group of hourly associates in a warehouse operation.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for inbound high value coded parts & lifestyle parts put away.

  • Assess coded parts claims to determine where faults lie.

  • Oversee outbound production, ensuring that all volume is processed daily.

  • Motivate organize and encourage teamwork within the workflow to ensure productivity targets are met or exceeded. Ensure that coded team member’s work together to maintain high productivity levels

  • Responsible for making sure the coded parts mailbox and IDS are monitored throughout the day and that emails are being responded to within a 1-hour timeframe.

  • Maintain the key machine, which includes monthly cleaning and regular calibration to ensure of machine ensuring key are cut accurately.

  • Build keysets/lockset to the threshold demand.

  • Daily communication & processing of land Rover orders.

  • Knowledge of the cutting/ coding/shipping process.

  • Train new staff as well as ongoing monitoring of their performance.

  • Maintain bin locations which includes organizing & moving stock.

  • Oversee compliance labels (B-Pillar, dashboard, Barcode, Emission &Tire), recall labels and metal VIN plates.

  • Communicate with dealers which includes fielding questions, creating/cancelling orders and motivation of order status/changes.

  • Oversee the Locksmith CKL application.

  • Ongoing communication with AG regarding coded parts questions and updates.

  • Batch management of color specific parts.

  • Knowledge of company’s key ordering policies and ensuring that policies are upheld.

  • Create staff schedules and assign task.

  • Collaborate with key audit group monthly and supply to VIN information.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

-3-5 years warehouse experience required

-2 years supervisory experience in a warehouse environment preferred.

-High School Diploma or equivalent required

-Bachelors Degree preferred

-Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred

-Must possess good communication skills as well as organizational and problem solving skills.

-Must be able to use CRT, PC, scanners, calculators and related equipment.

-Must have SAP knowledge

-Working knowledge of MRP and JIT preferred.

-Strong written/oral communication and organizational skills are required

-Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint required

-Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job

-Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.
