Citizens Bank Event Manager in Cranston, Rhode Island

Description

The Event Manager project manages events for Citizens Bank and its individual business lines. This includes conferences, events, executive town hall meetings, board meetings, incentive trips, Credo Week, and other projects. Responsibilities include the management of CFG and ExCo level in-person events to ensure consistent execution and planning. Partner with members of the wider Strategic Communications team to support various colleague facing events/activities. Ensures alignment with corporate messaging and brand.Primary responsibilities include:Manage planning of CFG and ExCo sponsored events and in person communication forums with responsibilities that include serving as on-site manager of events making decisions on behalf of the business actively developing and managing project plans, leading cross functional planning team meetings, directing on-site vendors (i.e. audio visual & venue), contract negotiations and event budget management. Execution of in person events, conferences, board meeting, incentive trips and leadership forums/town halls to support communication efforts. Ensure attention to flawless execution. Assign project related tasks to other colleagues within Strategic Communications as well as Business line and ensure completion managing to clear expectations. Liaise with local business line teams to ensure events meet strategic objectives set forth. Act as a subject matter expert assisting partners with smaller scale event planning. Share tools, templates, best practices that enable business line colleagues to manage small events and meetings that are out of scope of the Corporate Events Team. Ongoing stakeholder communication to assist in the planning and execution of events

Qualifications
