In the role of Senior Manager of Manufacturing Engineering you will be responsible for managing manufacturing engineering including developing and implementing manufacturing systems and processes. In this position, you will lead a team to create a culture of Continuous Improvement to drive solutions that will reduce waste through innovation. If you are the ideal candidate, you will develop cross functional relationships to elevate the business as well as:
Build and develop manufacturing engineering by recruiting, training and developing engineering talent.
Align technical development with processes.
Drive a culture of Continuous Improvement and change.
Develop and implement engineering strategic plan.
Drive problem solving methodology.
Partner with NPD and Engineering to launch new products.
Own and implement necessary systems for validation and process development that meets and adheres to FDA and Corporate/Divisional procedures.
Ensure effective implementation and validation of manufacturing processes and equipment to support the business growth, cost and capacity needs.
Identify, investigate and implement a pipeline of new and advanced manufacturing process and automation technologies and methods.
Maintain competitive advantage in manufacturing and create growth opportunities.
If you have these basic requirements...
Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Science degree or higher in Mechanical, Production, Manufacturing Engineering, or other related discipline.
8+ years of experience in manufacturing, including experience in a medical device or medical products company.
5+ years in a management or supervisory role.
Along with these preferred requirements
Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings.
Ability to effectively lead multi-disciplinary teams.
