Citizens Bank Insurance Product Manager in Canton, Massachusetts

Description

Responsible for supporting all aspects of insurance product development, maintenance and enhancement of assigned product categories including; new product launches, existing product re-positioning, competitive analysis and marketplace positioning, communication of investment strategy and training presentations. Participate in approved product committee meetings with senior management to present new products and review existing products as well as providing product analysis and trends of industry peers. Work closely with Compliance and Operations to assist with updating processes for new product launches.

Serves as an expert source for product lines and interface with financial advisors to position insurance products across sales channels while seeking opportunities to actively promote products and drive sales. Provide in-person training for newly hired financial advisors. Participate in weekly Product Team calls to discuss sale’s ideas, best practices and highlight success stories in the field. Responsible for relationship management with vendors while performing due diligence and oversight of partners and the products that the firm offers to clients.

15%-20% travel will be required to meet responsibilities.

Qualifications:

  • Work with vendors to discuss insurance product opportunity and research the industry to find new product offerings that would be beneficial to clients. Involved from start to finish in the early stage discussion of new products to the launch and support of the product.

  • Work directly with financial advisors to review case analysis and discuss appropriate insurance product options for clients. Train and educate financial advisors on the various product offerings available to promote and actively drive sales across the firm.

  • Perform due diligence on products lines, create sales reports and sales flow analysis to track success of various insurance products and business lines.

Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred

  • Master’s Degree preferred

  • Series 7 and 65, state, life, and health license preferred

  • CLU or advanced certifications preferred.
