Citizens Financial Group, Inc. (CFG) seeks Business Systems QA Specialist for its Boston, MA location.Duties: Analyze and implement improvements to computer systems by supporting Credit Services IT (CSIT) testing initiatives and participating in quality assurance (QA) process for the Credit Risk Management Dashboard (CRM Dashboard) application, including test planning, reviewing functional specifications and design documentation to generate test cases, creating test scripts, executing tests, and reporting results. Develop standards, methodology and best practices to test system integration, user acceptance, and regression. Analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to improve existing systems and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations. Assess QA risks with computer systems, and recommend scope control considerations along SDLC. Assist with onboarding contract testing resources and ensure they follow CSIT methods for effective QA. Ensure adequacy of testing timeline considerations for CRM Dashboard projects. Communicate issues discovered in testing, log defects, and follow through with development team until resolution. Utilize test management tools, defect tracking software, and test script execution tools, including HP ALM and MS SQL Management Studio, to create test cases, test scripts, log defects, execute data tests, and generate test status reports. Provide appropriate test documentation as required by Enterprise PMO, including test strategy, test plans, test cases, test completion reports, etc. Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by reviewing user feedback and researching, logging, retesting and responding on the issues reported in UAT.Direct applicants only.

Qualifications

Requirements: Must have a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Engineering or related field, and one (1) year of experience in the position offered or related business systems or quality assurance analyst position in the financial sector. Full term of experience must include performing IT systems analysis and participating in full SDLC to develop solutions for financial services risk management involving bank lending and portfolio management processes and business dynamics; converting business requirements and functional specifications into test cases; utilizing risk data and technology for planning and execution of QA testing for core bank risk management applications, databases, and networks; validating complex financial and risk management business rules in web-based applications and relational databases; developing complex SQL queries to identify or generate test data, and to validate defect fixes, data transformations, and inbound and outbound data feeds; utilizing HP ALM Testing and Defects modules to log test cases, execute test scripts, and generate test execution reports; and preparing test management documentation such as test strategies and plans, test readiness reports, and test completion reports.Hours & Work ScheduleHours per Week: 40Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8-5Why Work with UsAt Citizens, you’ll find a customer-centric culture built around helping our customers and giving back to our local communities.
