The Bankruptcy Market Leader for Citizens Bank will lead delivery of the bankruptcy deposit product capability for the commercial bank. He/she is responsible for profitability, quality, and competitiveness of the product(s) in that portfolio. This role owns and refines the process for bankruptcy deposit product delivery to best-in-class service and insure adherence with regulatory requirements.Develop and drives the product strategy and product portfolio, supporting the business strategy of the organization.Tracks commercial bankruptcy market activity and coordinates coverage of commercial bankruptcy (Chapters 7 & 11) deposit opportunities across line of business and functional groups within the Commercial Bank. Partner with Relationship Managers to identify new prospects and calling plans. Act as Trusted Advisor to clients; understand their needs and design solutions to meet these needs.Drives bankruptcy deposit originations, delivery, client management and operational excellence in conjunction with Structured Finance, Professionals Finance, Regional Relationship Management Teams, and Operations to deliver a seamless product experience for clients. Owns and refines the process for bankruptcy deposit product delivery to best-in-class service and insure adherence with regulatory requirements.


8+ years in Commercial banking, broad knowledge/understanding of cash management products and the industry. Must be self-starter, intellectually curious and able to manage through ambiguityDemonstrated ability to articulate strategic concepts and lay out a strategic course of actionDemonstrated ability to deliver profitable growth in a product area and understanding of the client needs that drive usage of the product(s)Detail oriented, but maintains a big picture view at the same timeBuilds cross functional partnerships effectively: negotiates with good judgment among multiple stakeholders who may have conflicting needsGains the confidence of others through proven expertise and the ability to communicate itStrong analytical skillsStrong communications skillsEducation:Bachelor degree requiredMasters Degree is a plus#LI-DR1
