Enterprise Technology Strategy and Innovation, Proposal Manager**

Enterprise Technology Strategy and Innovation (ETSI) is the newest business line in the Advisory practice. Our practice is dedicated to advising CIOs and technology leaders, and helping them navigate the ever-changing digital landscape as a true business partner in the C-suite. The ETSI team consists of highly skilled subject matter experts in Enterprise Technology Strategy, Information Technology Service Management, Advanced Digital Technology and Analytics, IT Strategic Sourcing, and Technology Resource Effectiveness who bring dedicated focus to the business of technology. The ETSI business line partners with our clients to cut through the clutter, ask the hard questions, and provide innovative and customized solutions that drive value and build trust.

Position Summary

The Proposal manager provides supervision and coordination over ETSI proposal activities. This position manages the ETSI proposal process, proposal pricing, standard templates, and proposal libraries. It coordinates with Grant Thornton Public Sector and other Advisory Business Lines to ensure firm level requirements and best practices are integrated into ETSI.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES: * Manage ETSI proposal generation and tracking process. * Support ETSI leadership in establishing and maintaining key performance indicators (KPIs) for tracking ETSI proposal performance * Track proposals against ETSI KPIs to ensure timeliness, quality, and consistency across the ETSI service lines. * Coordinate with ETSI service lines to generate proposal status reports. * Review proposal pricing for consistency with ETSI standards. * Coordinate and maintain ETSI account lists, opportunity pipelines, and resource pipelines. * Establish and maintain ETSI proposal library and knowledge management system for access to past proposals and reuse of materials. * Establish and maintain standard proposal templates and standard operating procedures to guide proposal writing and approval. * Manage training of ETSI team on ETSI proposal process. * Coordinate proposal activities across ETSI programs and with other Grant Thornton departments, ABLs, and public sector to ensure optimum efficiency and compliance with appropriate policies, procedures, and specifications. * Coordinate with ETSI communications and marketing team to ensure proposals incorporate approved ETSI collateral, methodologies, models, etc. * Plan and coordinate special events. * Communicate effectively and professionally with all levels of client personnel and client service personnel.


· College undergraduate degree or equivalent required.**

· Five to seven years of commercial and public sector proposal management experience preferably in an advisory/consulting environment.

· Ability to prioritize multiple assignments.

· Ability to take initiative, be self- directed and results-oriented.

· Superb attention to detail and organizational skills.

· Ability to work in a fast paced, quickly changing environment.

· Ability to work with sensitive information and maintain privacy and confidentiality of all documents.

· Ability to sit in an office environment for long periods of time.

· Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.

· Ability to obtain and maintain firm independence and abide by firm ethics requirements.
