Stryker Senior Finance Manager, ProCare EU in Amsterdam, United States
Acts as business partner for the ProCare business unit, representing the finance function.
Preparations and interprets operating results as they affect the financial aspects of progress towards financial objectives in annual budgets, projections and strategic plans.
Ensures the business adheres to all Corporate accounting policies and implements changes accordingly.
Will complete timely and accurate business unit financials monthly.
Partners with cross-functional business leaders to drive financial planning to enable business strategy, goals, and outcomes.
Consolidates, analyzes and tracks company operating budgets and exercises accounting control to ensure that expenditures do not exceed amounts budgeted.
Sets and handles annual budgets, projections and reporting of budgeted and actual financial results.
Works with HR business partner to execute the headcount strategy that supports business unit growth objectives.
Prepares and interprets operating results to drive accountability and measure effectiveness of business objectives.
Develops financial acumen or business leaders and managers within ProCare organization with the intent of increasing overall efficiency and productivity.
Works with product line manufacturing divisions to align service financials and reporting structures.
Collaborates with commercial finance and sales leaders to align objectives, drive performance visibility, and implement best practices.
SKILLS/ EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
10+ years relevant experience required.
Advanced understanding of business and financial strategy, financial projections, reporting and consolidations preferred
Exercise discretion and independence when applying professional expertise.
Demonstrated ability to influence and partner with high-level business leaders in multiple functional areas.
Proven performance in both strategic and tactical financial support.
Ability to operate in a complex environment, leveraging internal and external partners to meet the needs of the business.
Must be able to manage time, projects, stress and conflict.
Working knowledge and understanding of the basic principles, theories, concepts, and practices in the applicable area of engineering / technical specialization.
Must possess strong interpersonal skills, such as written and oral communication, conflict management and people management.
Must be completed with minimal supervision.
Must have the ability to prioritize work and keep detailed and confidential records.
Must be able to communicate and present to large audiences
EDUCATION / TRAINING REQUIRED
Bachelor's Degree required
CPA or CMA preferred
