What you will do

As a Quality Manager within our Sustainability Solutions team you will be responsible for implementation and maintenance of quality programs and systems to ensure Stryker products manufactured at the responsible site consistently meet or exceed expectations. You will ensure that all quality related requirements are met and partner with leadership from Global Quality and Operations and Stryker Divisions to develop strategies for delivering improved quality, cost, and service for new and existing products and processes.

  • You will actively lead cross-functional projects that improve manufacturing processes for existing products (CPIT), Sentinel, PPM etc.,

  • You will provide vision, guidance and effective communication to all team members to ensure the team’s understanding and achievement of Quality, Customer Experience, Innovation, Development, Safety, and Cost objectives

  • You will manage, coach, mentor, and develop the performance of team to drive and support a high-performance work culture

  • You will develop an engaged team with expertise and skill sets to advance ‘Quality First’ culture

  • You will partner with Operations teams to ensure products and processes consistently conform to Stryker, FDA, ISO, and other quality-related regulatory requirements

  • You will create a culture of partnership, transparency, service, and collaboration between Divisions and Operations

  • You will manage and support audits from quality-related regulatory agencies and notified bodies, in partnership with Division RA/QA and Operations leadership

  • You will support compliant execution of quality-related activities, including but not limited to CAPA, change management, problem solving, product and process development, acceptance activities

  • Your will develop, measure, and report key quality metrics to drive quality and efficiency

  • Communicate in an effective and timely manner with Division RA/QA and SGS leaders regarding any potential field actions and product holds being investigated

  • You will initiate training programs to advance understanding of regulatory requirements and quality concepts

  • You will lead and support Integration and Manufacturing transfer activities among sites

What you need

  • B.A. or B.S. in engineering, engineering management, or related discipline

  • Minimum 5 years in QA/RA or other applicable technical function Excellent analytical skills

  • Quality Assurance knowledge and understanding

  • Quality Systems knowledge (QSR, ISO 13485)

  • Certifications in quality field such as Six Sigma, CQM, CQE, etc.
